The Women's Center - The Women's Center is an emergency shelter, transitional living home, and counseling service for women and their families affected by domestic abuse. It is within walking distance from Carroll and volunteer opportunities include clerical projects, maintenance, food pantry/ donations sorting and training will be provided for those looking to work with clients and their children.

Waukesha Family YMCA - Located just a few blocks from campus, the Waukesha Family YMCA is looking for students to help staff its Virtual Vault, new interactive exercise equipment and games developed to help kids stay active, and its after school program for K-4th graders.
Hadfield Elementary School - Located about a mile from Carroll, Hadfield has a plethora of volunteer opportunities for students. You can help with their afterschool program, lead special projects, help coach sports teams, and working in the reading center just to name a few.
Hebron House - The mission of Hebron House of Hospitality, Inc. is to provide emergency housing and related services to people in transition with the basic needs of shelter, food and personal support. Volunteer opportunities are available to serve meals, organize donations, and help with clerical and maintenance work. Volunteers must fill out an application and be cleared 10 days in advance of working.

La Casa de Esperanza - La Casa's mission is to provide opportunities for low-income individuals to achieve full social and economic participation in society, with emphasis on the Hispanic population. It is located just a few blocks from campus. Volunteer opportunities are available in many areas including tutoring, childcare, and translation/interpreter. Their most immediate need is for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry - Various programs working with children and seniors. The WPRF can also coordinate outdoor group service projects to clean our local Waukesha Parks.
Avalon Square - Senior Adult Residential Living Center located in downtown Waukesha. Looking for help with crafts, activities, and outings. Many specialist service learning opportunities for those in health and wellness fields.
Waukesha Literacy Council - Opportunities to work one-on-one with clients , helping them learn to read of speak English. Training provided.

Goodwill -As part of their "On the Move" Saturdays, Goodwill is looking for volunteers to help work with developmentally disabled adults in special projects including art, dances, crafts, and trips.
The Salvation Army - Many projects available at the Salvation Army including meal serving and help with bell ringing and present wrapping over the holidays. Carroll students are involved with both the Snack Pack project and the upcoming Red Kettle campaign.

Waukesha Public Schools - Along with opportunities at Hadfield, we also have similar programs at Waukesha STEM Academy, Whittier, and Saratoga Schools.
Waukesha Food Pantry - The Waukesha Food Pantry has recently setteled into their new location on Sentry Drive - only a few doors down from Carroll's Physical Plant location. The Food Pantry has a need for billingual students that can assistant with food distibution. The Food Pantry has convenient hours for Carroll students - all day on Wednesdays, Thursday evenings and Saturday morning volunteer opportunities are available!

Hope House Milwaukee - Hope House Milwaukee is a family shelter located in the Walker's Point area of Milwaukee. Opportunities are available for students to work with the Hope House after-school program and summer program which serves both residents and children ages 5-16 from the surrounding neighborhood.
Milwaukee Scores - Score Milwaukee is a program combining teaching of soccer with teaching of creative writing and poetry to inner city youth in Milwaukee. Volunteer opportunities are available in both disciplines and for larger one-time events as well.
