Welcome

Welcome to the brand new Carroll University Volunteer Center blog!
This blog is designed to be the heart of the Volunteer Center, a volunteering and communications hub. It is a place to find volunteer opportunities, volunteer events, campus events, potential partner organizations. It will also be a forum of sorts for reflecting on volunteering experiences and service in general. We will try to get blogs from students, staff, and community partners that hopefully provide different perspectives on volunteering. Pretty much the sky is the limit. This blog is to be a service to students and community members, a place for everyone to get on the same page (literally) and bring everything together. We went with the url Carroll Volunteers to be both the noun, you, the people volunteering and serving, Carroll students, and the verb, the action word, Carroll getting out into the community and acting and doing. Both of these aspects are essential.

Look for pictures, videos, guidelines, reflection questions and more in the future. Stay tuned.

And thanks much. You are a huge part of all of this! Let's make things happen!

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does. ~William James
